The Practice

Consultations are by appointment only. ‘Bookable on the day’ appointments are also available for urgent and routine appointments. Our surgery times are:

Mornings: 9.00 – 11.30am
Afternoons: 2 – 4pm or 3.30 – 5.30 pm
Child Health Clinics: every second Tue 2.00pm – 2.30pm

We hold a General Medical Services (GMS) contract with Greater Glasgow NHS Board (GGNHSB), Dalian House, 350 St. Vincent Street, Glasgow G3 8YZ Tel: 0141 201 4444.

Our health centre is fully accessible to disabled patients. Our area comprises the postal districts G33.3 , G33.4 and G33.5. G34.0, G34.1, G34.2, G34.3 and G34.4. G34.5, G34.6, G34.7, G34.8 and G34.9.   We do not accept patients who live 4 miles or more from the practice.

Information Sharing

The practice complies with Data Protection & access to medical records legislation. Identifiable info about you will be shared with others in the following circumstances: to provide further medical treatment for you e.g. from district nurse, or to help you get other services e.g. in child protection cases.

Annonymised patient information will be used to help the Health Board & Government plan services e.g. for diabetic care. I you do not wish anonymous information about you to be used in such a way, please let us know.

Teaching

We teach medical students. You will be informed when students are present. If you do not wish to speak to students, please tell us. We also train doctors who are specialising in General Practice medicine. These are fully qualified doctors who can sign prescriptions and deal with any medical condition you have. You will be advised if your appointment is with a Registrar doctor in training. Please tell us if you would prefer to see another doctor.

Rights & Responsibilities

Patients should attend appointments on time. If this is not possible they should inform the surgery as soon as possible. Appointments are for one person only, additional appointments should be made for more than one person.

In the rare event of a patient being violent or threateningly abusive to staff, other people in the surgery or premises, we may call the police, an we may ask the Health Board to remove you from our list. There is a special GP practice in the city to which violent patients will be referred.

Changes to Registration Regulations

We welcome patients from the following postcode areas :- G33.3 , G33.4 and G33.5. G34.0, G34.1, G34.2, G34.3 and G34.4. G34.5, G34.6, G34.7, G34.8 and G34.9.   We do not accept patients who live 4 miles or more from the practice.

We do not accept patients on to our list who live 4 or more miles from Easterhouse Health Centre.
